Jacob married Charlotte Butler, daughter of Henry Butler and Harriet Candy, on 12 Feb 1857 in Kilmersdon, Somerset. (Charlotte Butler died in Mar 1895 and was buried on 12 Mar 1895 in Whaddon, Wiltshire.)
