William married Ellen Gibbons, daughter of William Hutton Gibbons and Hannah Lippiatt, on 17 Oct 1860 in St Giles, Reading, Berkshire. (Ellen Gibbons was born on 4 Jan 1836 in Victoria Park Farm, and died on 4 Jul 1913.)
