Between 1/7/1876 and 31/12/1876 William at the age of 35 worked on a ship called "Hannah" with Thomas Bence aged 45 and Josiah Windows aged 30 who was master of the ship. The ship sailed to and from Bristol,Cardiff and Newport about once a fortnight.The owner of the ship was William Lloyd of 4 Hampton Terrace Totterdown Bristol. Josiah Windows lived at 30 St Silas Place St Phillips Marsh Bristol.
